Eric Cantor Pledges To Stop Spending Money We Do Not Have!

24 Aug

A bold statement that is easy to make and as we learned in the last decade, difficult to follow through on. Right now, according to Marco Rubio ,  “Forty cents of every dollar being spent by the federal government is being borrowed from my children.  In other words, this year we are spending $1.4 trillion that we do not have.

I really do hope that the Republican leadership has learned from their past errors, this time we will be watching!

You’re damned right! If Republicans think that they can do a head fake on their constituency this time a Third Party will be born.

Don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining.

The American people have their eyes WIDE OPEN and we’ll give guys like Cantor one more election cycle to return to Constitutionality. If they’re not there, they’re outta here.

Balance the federal budget in three easy steps or balancing the budget for dummies!

    1. Take the current federal budget and subtract the amount of the deficit.
    2. That is the amount of spending that is financed with taxes.
    3. Go back in time, find the most recent federal budget for the amount in step 2 and adopt it.

Voila, balanced budget. And I bet you don’t have to go back that far in time either.
