Trending on Twitter #ObamaDogRecipes

17 Apr

In what appears to be retaliation over Obama staffers reportedly obsessing over a nearly 30-year-old story about Romney’s dog conservatives are tweeting feverishly after excerpts from Obama’s book Dreams of My Father started making the rounds in the blogosphere.

“With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy). Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.”

Trending is #ObamaDogRecipes with such delicacies as Chihuahua-changas, Drunken Poodles, German Shepard’s Pie, Yorkshire Terrier pudding, and Apple Turn-Rovers. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg someone twitter pic’d this gem.

After this, I don’t think will be hearing any more about Romney’s 30 year old dog tales from the Obama camp.
