Obama Walking the Plank of His Own Making. Fellow Democrats Sawing Plank.

Schadenfreude.  It’s what’s for dinner.

Democrats are running away from Obamacare, which will likely be ruled unconstitutional in June.

Sen. Jim Webb said the law would be Obama’s “biggest downside” in the election and had cost him “a lot of credibility as a leader.”

Some of us were at your office, providing such advice to this affect during the run up to this vote, Jimmy.  I saw you walking down the hallway towards your office and once you saw us gathered outside your office you ran from us.  We were there and we were ignored.  Now you hike up your skirt and run away from a re-election bid because you know you screwed up big time.

No worries though, mate.  We’ll release the same fury against your replacement candidate, Timmy Kaine, that we would have on you.  Timmy is a big Obama guy.  Big Obama guys don’t do so well with the electorate since 2008.

And then there’s this from former Congressman Artur Davis from Alabama.

“I think the Affordable Care Act is the single least popular piece of major domestic legislation in the last 70 years,” he said. “It was not popular when it passed; it’s less popular now.”

And now Democrats are running away from President Obama’s blockage of the Keystone XL Pipeline.  Funny how constituent feedback about the pain at the pump brings new wisdom to even the most radically green Democrats.

Sharks are swirling below the plank.  Sharks of Obama’s own creation.  Shutting down and restricting coal fired power plants isn’t going to help, either.  When electricity rates ‘necessarily skyrocket’ (your words, not mine) going into the cooling season, this will add more pressure.  Coal fired power plants are shutting down because of Obama.

When GSA employees lavishly waste taxpayer money and flaunt it on You Tube, that doesn’t help either.

When Obama uses the Justice Department to promote illegal gun running resulting in the deaths of American border and ICE agents and this Justice Department turns a blind eye to voter intimidation perpetrated by the Black Panthers while harassing states over voter ID laws and immigration enforcement laws, that doesn’t help either.

When Obama racks up $5 Trillion in debt in 3 years, tosses our money at pet projects that are massive failures like Solyndra, LightSquared, and others, that doesn’t help either.

When Obama takes an unprecedented number of vacations while the ranks of the unemployed moved from gainful employment and self esteem onto demeaning government dependency, well that don’t much help, either.

You know what, Champ?  You’re doomed.  If your cratering poll numbers don’t advise you, then your own party distancing themselves from you certainly does.

America’s got a big party planned for November 6th.

You’re not invited.

Mark Levin outlines the conservative vision for Romney 2012

Growing more and more frustrated with Mitt Romney’s inability to articulate the conservative message while campaigning, the Great One delivers an example of what Romney should be saying as only Levin can.

Obama appointed federal judge overturns Obama administrations EPA veto of coal mining permit.

For the second time this week a federal court has overturned an EPA ruling. Earlier this week , the Supreme  Court ruled that landowners are allowed to sue the Environmental Protection  Agency and allows people to challenge compliance orders handed out by the EPA under the clean water law. Yesterday, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled that the federal Environmental Protection Agency is not authorized to withdraw a Clean Water Act permit that already was issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

“This is a stunning power for an agency to arrogate to itself when there is absolutely no mention of it in the statute,” Jackson wrote in a 34-page opinion that’s been highly anticipated by all sides in the mountaintop-removal debate.

Jackson called the language at issue in the law unclear and confusing, but said the EPA’s reading was not a reasonable interpretation.

What makes this latest ruling more remarkable is that the judge that slammed the Obama administration agency ploy to revoke mountaintop mining  permits, saying the EPA invented authority where there was none, was nominated by President Obama, not once, but twice. Obama nominated Jackson to fill a vacant seat on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on June 17, 2010. Her nomination lapsed at the end of 2010, but Obama renominated her on January 5, 2011 and the United States Senate confirmed Jackson in a 97-0 vote on March 17, 2011.

The repeated overreach of this administration is so blatant and apparent that is now being rebuked by it own hand-picked federal judges.

While you were enjoying resurgent gasoline prices…

And wondering why America can’t drill or build pipelines.  And wondering why so many billions have been borrowed from China and subsequently lost in Obama’s failed alternative energy companies like Solyndra and Light Squared.  And wondering why your old incandescent light bulbs have been outlawed,

Comes this instructive piece from the RNC.  Yes, we know that Obama is corrupt to the core.  RNC built us a little roadmap with names I’ve never heard of and connections that I didn’t know.  Have you heard of any of these co-conspirators?

He’s emptying our coffers folks.  He’s bankrupting the nation brazenly and with exteme prejudice.  We all know that.  But what’s happening under the radar is CRIMINAL.

Obama is Hugo Chavez on stilts on a mega coke binge.  He is a coke head.  You do remember that, doncha?

This, combined with the newly released knowledge about how they corrupted the electoral system, explains why Obama isn’t doing the Bill Clinton ‘move to the center’ to get re-elected thing.  He’s gone full out, in your face leftist going into re-election, sending his Occupy brown shirts out to intimidate people.  This evil son of a bitch feels that he has so completely rigged the system that there is no way he can lose.  It won’t be a fair election.  It’ll be Venezuela.  Or Saddam’s Iraq.  Or Iran.  Pick the dictatorship of your choice.

Two million dead are still registered to vote.  Many others have voter registrations in more than one state.

Obama has paid off everybody he needs to, released his Occupy thugs into the populace as a threat and knows that he owns Matt Lauer, Chris Matthews, George Stephanopopopopilis, all of the media your mother watches at NBC/ABC/CBS/CNN/Washington Post/NYT/LAT/BostonGlobe, all of pop culture from music to movies to television and turned the argument against the Catholics from abortion to birth control, and has cowed the populace into silence even when jack booted thugs are confiscating their childrens’ home made lunches.

And it’s only February.  The Evil doer has got even more up his sleeve.

We now live under a full fledged dictatorship.  Tyranny.

But nevermind that.  American Idol is probably putting on a tribute to Whitney Houston tonight.  Enjoy.

Obama’s Energy Policy? BANANAs.

Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything

The face of evil

The latest?  Conoco Phillips wants to extract petroleum and natural gas from the Alaskan National Petroleum Reserve, an 23 million acre oil field established in 1923, but to move the product out and get supplies in they need to build a bridge.

Obama, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers are blocking it.

More obstruction.  Higher energy prices.  More unemployment.

Obama says he’s not stopping the oil companies from getting new supplies. But when he doesn’t allow oil to be taken out of something called the National Petroleum Reserve, you know he’s lying.

Go read the whole thing.  It is a thorough description of yet another example of the purposeful destruction of this once great nation.

Global Warming: A Well Protected Lie

You may remember this picture.  I first saw it in science class…around 5th grade…

I’ve always sort of wondered how all of these brilliant scientists run around spending millions on research to prove the conclusion that mankind is responsible for changes in our climate.  Every time I talk to someone about it I point confused at the sun and ask, “What about that?”  Well…what about it?

I mean, Al Gore is calling people that don’t believe him racists as if science is about towing the line.  I can’t help but be reminded about being called a “flat earther” over this crap.

This article over at Financial Post makes me want to throw all of these people in jail.

The hypothesis that cosmic rays and the sun hold the key to the global warming debate has been Enemy No. 1 to the global warming establishment ever since it was first proposed by two scientists from the Danish Space Research Institute, at a 1996 scientific conference in the U.K. Within one day, the chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Bert Bolin, denounced the theory, saying, “I find the move from this pair scientifically extremely naive and irresponsible.” He then set about discrediting the theory, any journalist that gave the theory cre dence, and most of all the Danes presenting the theory — they soon found themselves vilified, marginalized and starved of funding, despite their impeccable scientific credentials.

This probably doesn’t surprise any of you that would read this, but the government funded scientific community has been defending its source of endless climate change money pretty fiercely.  Well the debate can finally be settled…if anyone actually gets to read about it that is:

Yet this spectacular success will be largely unrecognized by the general public for years — this column will be the first that most readers have heard of it — because CERN remains too afraid of offending its government masters to admit its success. Weeks ago, CERN formerly decided to muzzle Mr. Kirby and other members of his team to avoid “the highly political arena of the climate change debate,” telling them “to present the results clearly but not interpret them” and to downplay the results by “mak[ing] clear that cosmic radiation is only one of many parameters.” The CERN study and press release is written in bureaucratese and the version of Mr. Kirkby’s study that appears in the print edition of Nature censored the most eye-popping graph — only those who know where to look in an online supplement will see the striking potency of cosmic rays in creating the conditions for seeding clouds.

So here we are in the middle of a struggling economy and crippling unemployment and we’re letting the EPA shackle us to climate change mythology.  This isn’t a small issue.  As anyone that has thought about the problem for more than a passing moment realizes, if you take the AGW groups arguments and put them into policy we are committing ourselves to poverty – sacrificing the greatest nation in history on the altar of environmentalist propaganda.  We need to get this word out there so we can rally political pressure to dismantle the cap and trade agenda completely and release the people in the oil, coal, and natural gas development communities to continue growing our nation.  Chop chop.

The Obama Adminstration’s efforts are killing the American economy and Americans

What criteria does the Obama administration use to craft new regulations? The answer is unclear. When developing regulations effecting coal and oil-fired electric generating units they seem to maintain
their motivation is our health and welfare with a sensitivity to economic impact.  In March of this year EPA
Administrator Lisa Jackson announced the EPA’s proposed new Mercury and Air Toxics Standards and stated, “At the EPA, we are eager to work with the American people through the coming public comment period, so that we can craft safeguards that best protect our health and strengthen our economy.”

Furthermore EPA estimates that reducing emissions would save 17,000 lives every year beginning
in 2015, to say nothing of preventing thousands of illnesses, emergency room
visits, and missed work days. Preventing those human casualties will save
millions in health-care costs and prevent millions more in economic losses from
illness and absenteeism.

Industry experts claim that standards cannot be met by 2015 as a result, plants that
can’t be upgraded in time must be taken off-line in 2015. With less power available on the grid, electricity prices are forecast to spike by 11.5 percent nationwide in 2016, causing hundreds of thousands of job losses across the economy, according to National Economic Research Associates.

According to Bernstein Research, the EPA’s rules will slash reserve capacity—i.e., the availability of electricity generating capacity to meet peak demand and plug power interruptions—resulting in increased power
outages of longer duration. In a hot summer like this one, that means rolling blackouts, loss of air conditioning, and potentially heat-related deaths.

Add to that the recently announced new federal regulations that would raise fuel efficiency standards for cars and light trucks, hitting an average of 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025—a 40 percent reduction in fuel consumption compared to today.

Senator Boxer said: “The first-ever federal standards for trucks and buses that the Obama Administration announced today will significantly cut fuel costs for truck owners, and reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil. It is also a historic step forward in our nation’s efforts to reduce dangerous air pollution, which will benefit families in California and across the nation.”

While that sounds great on the surface, the truth is these new standards will actually result in the maiming or death of countless Americans. Sam Kazman of the Competitive Enterprise Institute explained the MPG standard “has been killing people for the last 30 years, It forces cars to be…made smaller and lighter….They are simply worse in just about every type of auto collision.” The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration actually
backs Kazman up. It estimates that smaller cars are responsible for an additional 2,000 deaths each year. As Reason reports, “a 2002 National Academy of Sciences study concluded that CAFE’s downsizing affect contributed to between 1,300 and 2,600 deaths in a single representative year, and to 10 times that many serious injuries.”

These new regulations will also harm our already beleaguered economy. The Center for Automotive Research
says the new standard will raise the price of cars by about $7,000. Nicolas Loris explains
how those higher costs can lead to job loss: Higher prices reduce demand and force people to hold onto their older vehicles longer. Reduced demand means fewer cars produced, which means automakers have to shed jobs. The Michigan-based consulting firm Defour Group projected that a 56 mpg standard would destroy 220,000 jobs.

It is likely that Obama’s aggressive new fuel efficiency standards will result in an escalation of casualties and a
negative impact on our economy. So whether it is fuel efficiency standards or Air Toxics Standards,
this administration is not concerned with crafting safeguards that best protect our health and strengthen our economy at all.

The Gov’t Giveth and the Gov’t Taketh Away

Steve Wynn was lamenting the deteriorating lifestyle of his employees on Cavuto last night. Healthcare costs due to Obamacare, combined with a shrinking dollar are hurting the little people Obama pretends to care about.

Between rising fuel costs, which are the direct result of Obama and the Democrats energy policy, and the rising cost of bare essentials, people are really feeling the squeeze being put on them by their Federal Government.

The Consumer Price Index shows and inflation rate of 182% since 1982 and prices rose 2.1% for the first quarter of 2011. That’s an 8.4% annual rate!

Question is, are people who are hurt by Obamanomics smart enough to recognize cause and effect while they’re in the polling place?

57% Disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy and his overall numbers are not good for an incumbent.
Note on this poll, this is just a random sample of adults, not likely voters, so I’d take the Presidential electoral polls with a large grain of salt.

I guess that’s why Obama is frantically raising money and campaigning like crazy.

Not that he ever stopped campaigning in the first place. The permanent campaign could hurt him though.

Stop bullsh1tting us and GET TO WORK, you bum!

Virginia AG Cuccinelli – EPA is more about control and transformation of our economy, not protecting our environment

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, well-known for his principled adherence to the constitution and the rule of law, spoke to party leaders at the Republican Party of  Virginia’s annual meeting. The General discussed the link between free people and free markets and clean environments as opposed to the environmental disasters which have and are occurring in places like Chernobyl and China.

Cuccinelli then updated the GOP’ers on his legal action defending Virginians from the unprecedented attack on our liberties from the Obama Care legislation and its unconstitutional mandate which imposes punitive fees on citizens engaged in inactivity somehow claiming that inactivity is in fact an activity. Cuccinelli points out that the dictionary maybe the biggest obstruction for the Feds who are defending this legislation.

During a Q & A session the AG commented on Obama’s “Central Planning” command and control approach to governing and poked fun at HHH Secretary Sebelius.
