Today marks the first day since Tiger Wood’s world came unravelled in scandal and shame that he’s won a PGA Tour event. He just won the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
That’s his first PGA Tour victory since September 13, 2009.
It was 157 days before Tiger’s last victory that the the Democratically controlled United States Senate, also riddled with scandal and shame, passed a budget. April 9, 2009.
Congratulations to Tiger and shame on the Democrats.

Jason Mattera from Human Events cornered Joe Biden in the halls of Congress last week over his ridiculous claims about rape and murder rising if Obama’s phony jobs doesn’t pass, in case you missed it.
Well, Mr. Thin Skin didn’t much like that.
So he’s crying to the Senate Correspondence Committee.
Biden’s office has also contacted the standing committee of correspondents, which oversees the gallery, regarding whether Mattera broke the rules by ambushing him.
Heather Rothman, the chairwoman of the gallery’s standing committee, said the matter is under review.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor spoke about the Deficit Reduction Commission one month ago. Remarkably, the talks have hit an impasse and he’s finally figured out that it’s a waste of time. Bye Biden.
According to the Wall Street Journal:
Mr. Cantor, in an interview after a negotiating session he described as bitterly contentious, said he would not be attending Thursday’s scheduled meeting of the bipartisan deficit-reduction leadership group because he believed it was time for the negotiations to move to a higher level.
“We’ve reached the point where the dynamic needs to change,” Mr. Cantor said. “It is up to the president to come in and talk to the speaker. We’ve reached the end of this phase. Now is the time for these talks to go into abeyance.”
Update: Meanwhile, Democrats are worrying that their president will offer too many concessions to the Republicans in order to get a deal on the budget and debt ceiling.
As bipartisan debt limit negotiations between congressional leaders and the White House rev up, a number of Democrats are worried that President Barack Obama will agree to a deal with the GOP that cuts federal spending too deep, undermines the social safety net, slashes entitlement programs and does not include a single dime in tax increases.

Some liberals, such as Reps. Keith Ellison of Minnesota and Jim McDermott of Washington, said it’s “irrational” to link spending cuts to the debt ceiling debate.
It’s no wonder the two sides are at an impasse.

Vice President Joe Biden either doesn’t know or doesn’t care about top-secret classifications of sensitive information. According to the Telegraph, the loose-lipped man who is only a heartbeat away from being the President announced to the world that the UBL operation was executed by Navy SEALS. While it was widely believed by all that it was the SEALS, the United States has a policy of not disclosing specific special ops units which are involved in specific operations.
Since President Barack Obama announced that “a small team of Americans” had killed Osama bin Laden, US government officials have carefully stuck to the line that they will not talk about which units were involved.
Obama did not say it was the SEALs. In numerous television appearances, Obama’s counter-terrorism chief John Brennan didn’t and his deputy national security adviser Denis McDonough didn’t. Despite the numerous news reports that named the SEALs, none of the anonymous briefers from the CIA and Pentagon would confirm it.
