Last July 2nd I travelled up to DC to join a protest against the crimes of Operation Fast and Furious in front of the White House. I arrived to see just a handful of college kids demanding Attorney General Eric Holder’s resignation. After all, the U.S. government was running guns to criminals in Mexico that culminated in the death of a Border Agent.

But amazingly, within about a half hour the Secret Service ‘discovered’ a suspicious package and evacuated not only Pennsylvania Avenue in front of 1600, but Lafayette Park behind it, as well.

I was suspicious, but I understood the need for White House security. We disbanded as instructed. Maybe there really was a suspicious package.

Unfortunately, I just recently deleted my own photos from that day, but Townhall.com documented the whole thing. And apparently the ‘suspicious package’ was quickly claimed but the evacuation and sealing of the space continued, just the same.

I was there. I saw the whole thing, too. And it was just the protestors who were the ‘suspicious package’.

It was just four months before the election and this issue needed to go away and the White House crushed this little demonstration with extreme prejudice and expeditiousness using the full weight and pressure of the Secret Service.

Just another example of a government agency grinding its boot on our necks.

So. What is Obama’s death toll for his reelection so far? At least 5 by my count. No, wait. Now there are all of the American casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq who have been made sitting ducks by Obama’s withdrawal/retreat policies. The number is actually in the hundreds.

But body counts are what you get with gangsta gubmint. Get used to it. And just don’t cross gangsta gubmint, either.

But it is simply disappointing when people you have placed your faith in, who profess to be in your camp, who speak the words that motivate you to work on their behalf then betray the principles that we all thought we shared.

It is disappointing that “conservative icons” Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan shill for the latest amnesty bill in a radio ad, calling inaction the “real amnesty”. When Paul Ryan talks about the horror of having two classes of people in this country, completely abandoning the notion that we don’t have two classes of Americans. We have citizens living here. And we have illegal people poaching on our country living here, with no distinction between the two.

Dammit, they’re illegals and they’re not entitled to the American dream unless they come through the front door. Stop lying to us. First about the issues and second about who you are and who you represent.

It is also disappointing when Virginia’s Mr. Clean, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, has been exposed for taking gifts from sycophant tycoons. I was all in for Ken but I’m not so much a fan now. I’m now a bit meh on Ken.

And now we’re headed to the VA Republican convention to nominate him as our candidate for Governor.

Dude. People don’t come to me lavishing gifts. What were you thinking? Why would you accept such gifts? Don’t you know that there is no such thing as free? The reason people lavish gifts on you is that they want something.

Duh.

I’m not saying that you engaged in any sort of quid pro quo, but WHY, WHY, WHY would you cede the moral high ground of your status as squeaky clean to the dirt bag, Terry McAuliffe in this race? Now it’s a fucking issue. Nicely played, sir.

It’s an unforced error.

You shouldn’t have taken as much as a stick of gum from anyone.

OK. Maybe gum.

But no more.

Now we all have to wonder if you can be influenced with filthy lucre.

I’m sorry to be this blunt, but this is what ordinary citizens are thinking and what one of your formerly ardent supporters is thinking.

Things have changed in Washington, since the Benghazi and IRS scandals have been picked up by the media. We need to engage now, like we never have before. Let’s get involved and keep the momentum going til Obama, Harry, Nancy and the rest of the socialists are running out of Washington.

Forbes Introduces Bill to Stop IRS from Using Obamacare Tax as Next Political Bludgeon

Washington, D.C., May 15 -
Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) announced today that he is introducing legislation that would prohibit a massive expansion of the Internal Revenue Service at a time when many Americans are calling into question the integrity of what should be a non-partisan, non-political government agency. The Prevent IRS Overreach Act would prohibit the IRS from hiring any personnel for the purpose of implementing the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The bill introduction comes on the heels of confirmation that the IRS has purposely targeted applicants for tax-exempt status for having “Tea Party” or “Patriot” in their names — demanding confidential donor lists and delaying applications in many cases for years.

“Americans have witnessed egregious political bullying at the hands of IRS agents — bullying that senior leadership of the IRS have been aware of for two years. Under current law, the authority to implement the President’s healthcare tax rests with the very people who used their government positions to act as political operatives working to influence the electoral process. I’m introducing legislation today to prevent the IRS from being handed their newest bludgeon to target businesses and individuals that do not come in line with their political philosophy or policy positions. The IRS would be better to police its own than to police the millions of Americans who believe this healthcare law to be bad for their families and bad for our businesses,” Forbes said.

The scandal-plagued agency has publicly admitted that it wrongfully subjected tax-exempt groups with conservative leaning ideologies to intense and unnecessary scrutiny, targeting groups in some cases simply for purposes such as “Educating on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.” The IRS is now the subject of a federal criminal investigation to determine whether agents knowingly and willfully violated the law by using their official positions to tamper with election processes. Congressman Forbes’ “Prevent IRS Overreach Act” is a necessary step towards reining in an overtly intrusive government which has once again failed to hold itself accountable.

As Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, I took part in investigating and putting forward a report on Benghazi in conjunction with four other committee chairmen. We will continue investigating until we have all the answers. The brave whistleblowers that came forward last week reveal that there is much more to this story.

I will be keeping a close eye on the investigation by the House Ways and Means Committee to see if the IRS made significant attempts to violate your First Amendment rights. This story is rapidly evolving. My hope is that whoever is responsible for these decisions will be disciplined. An apology by the IRS just doesn’t cut it.

It has been a big week and I plan on finding answers to the serious questions raised by these reports.

The Associated Press seems to have finally ‘gotten’ what the rest of us knew all along.  And they’re no more pleased to be targeted by the thugocracy than the rest of us.  Welcome to the party, AP,

Obama is now officially in trouble.  He woke up the media to what he’s all about.  Look out. 

Quite frankly, I was in no mood to comment.

Why bother?  I thought.

What is the point of chasing down the voter fraud and corruption if it doesn’t result in the repudiation of the perpetrators?  Was I just banging my spoon on my highchair?  How could the architect of Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the worst economy of all time, the man gutting the military and intel community possibly get re-elected?  And if the American people are this shallow and willing to sell their liberty for a bowl of soup, why should I be getting all worked up?

So I didn’t.

But.  In the long run, I kind of missed the blog and because my blog heroes over at Ace of Spades linked this blog and because there are important things that need to be investigated….

So where are those same liberals, media, and anti-2nd Amendment brigade when it comes to the thousands of murders committed by our own Joseph Mengele? What about THOSE children? Let’s not mince words here, many of these children were born alive, healthy, and viable and Gosnell or a member of his untrained staff jammed a pair of surgical scissors into the back of their neck and severed their spinal cord.

You don’t have to take my word for it, all the sickening details can be found in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s report to the Grand Jury. Page 99 of the report begins the details the intentional killing of viable babies substantiated with testimony from clinic employees who were directly involved with the slaughter. Be warned, the report and photos are graphic and disturbing beyond belief. Not much disturbs me anymore; this report nearly made me vomit and did bring me to tears.

Despite numerous allegations of wrong-doing, the Pennsylvania Department of Health failed repeatedly to respond or investigate any charges made post 1993; Gosnell was free to butcher women and infants without fear of reprisal. Why did the state refuse to investigate these charges? Why despite reports of wrong doing did the state regulators not only not respond to reports, why didn’t they even perform inspections of any kind on Gosnell’s clinic after the inspection in 1993?
Philly.com reported:

Gosnell’s clinic was reinspected in 1989, 1992, and 1993. Each time, deficiencies were found, including no nurses overseeing the recovery room, missing lab work, no obstetrician-gynecologist on staff, and out-of-date medication. Yet each time, state evaluators reapproved the clinic without requiring or verifying corrective actions.

In early 2002, in response to an inquiry by a lawyer suing Gosnell for malpractice in the death of a patient, a state Health Department official said the agency had received no complaints against the doctor. In fact, it had received four complaints.

In 2007, the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office autopsied a stillborn baby, delivered by Gosnell at 30 weeks. The coroner alerted the state Health Department’s top attorney about the potential violation of the abortion control law. It bans abortions after 24 weeks unless the woman’s life is at risk, among other conditions. Instead of investigating, the agency’s attorney said, neither the Health Department nor the medical licensing board had any authority over the matter.

State health officials did not investigate even after learning of the November 2009 death of Karnamaya Mongar, who developed a fatal heart arrhythmia after being overdosed on anesthetics at Gosnell’s clinic, according to the jury’s report.

The Department of State’s Board of Medicine, which licenses medical professionals, also turned blind eyes, the report says. For example, it took no action nine years ago when a former Gosnell employee reported the illegal practice that years later led to Mongar’s death: Unlicensed, barely trained workers were anesthetizing patients before he arrived at the clinic.

Board attorneys also “disregarded notices that numerous patients . . . were hospitalized . . . with fetal remains still inside; and with perforated uteruses, cervixes, and bowels.”

Kirsten Powers, resident liberal at Fox News has even questioned the lefts’ absolute silence on Gosnell’s house of horrors, but Kirsten shouldn’t be surprised – they care about the children only when the children are convenient for their narrative. Murdering well over fifty thousand predominately black and brown babies passes muster because abortion is legal and all abortion including late-term abortions are perfectly acceptable according to President Barack Hussein Obama and his followers. Remember, he would never want one of his daughters ”punished with a baby”. Interesting choice of words from a literal bastard, but I digress.

The children murdered by Gosnell and his staff were not merely zygotes without form, these were fully formed INFANTS – babies that could have just as easily been swaddled in pink or blue blankets and sent home with a full life ahead of them.

I admit that I have, in the past, been a pro-choice advocate, and even though I have been pro-life for several years, I still held the belief that abortion was acceptable in certain cases. The grand jury report and the photos changed that. Whether inside or outside of the womb, it is murder. If you still feel it is acceptable, you didn’t read the report and you refused to look at the pictures.

EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR., (D) OF FLORIDA

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war. (CHECK. Presidents (both parties) have routinely supported U.N. measures that subject our sovereign power to the U.N.)

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war. (CHECK. #44 has made a systematic effort to decrease the U.S. number of nuclear warheads while our enemies continue to grow theirs.)

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength. (CHECK. #44 not only apologizes for our strengths, but works to undermine them in the name of moral strength.)

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. (CHECK.)

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites. (CHECK. Let’s understand this does not refer to satellites in the sky, but to governments supportive of Communist Russia’s agenda. Currently, these would be the governments who embrace totalitarian regimes.)

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination. (CHECK. Currently this refers not only to Communist domination, but also to Radical Islamic domination, i.e. Al Qaeda, Taliban, Hamas, etc.)

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N. (CHECK. 1971)

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N. (CHECK. 1961 - remember, this list was written in 1958.)

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress. (CHECK. Even in 2013 the conference is still going on.)

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N. (CHECK, what are now Belarus and Ukraine were Soviet satellites until gaining their independence in 1991.)

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.) (CHECK. Agenda 21.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party. (CHECK – is it illegal? Nope, these days we are surrounded by mindless twits who think “Socialism is Cool”.)

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths. (CHECK. Note the continued degradation of The Pledge of Allegiance and the systematic removal from schools and community government events.)

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office. (CHECK. Not only does Russia have access, the entire world has access via the USPTO website.)

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. (CHECK. The Democratic Party ideals are largely communistic in nature. Whether or not they want to recognize or admit it.)

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights. (CHECK, CHECK, CHECK. Too many examples to list.)

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks. (CHECK, and none are so insidious as the NEA.)

18. Gain control of all student newspapers. (CHECK. Control the schools, control their media.)

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions. (CHECK, CHECK, CHECK. Too many to list, but the December 30, 2012 Op-Ed favoring dumping The Constitution is a good example.)

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures. (CHECK, CHECK, CHECK.)

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.” (CHECK. Look around. How many sculptures do you look at and ask, what the heck is that supposed to be?)

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.” (CHECK. Jesus on the Cross in urine, Mary surrounded by multiple buttocks with elephant dung, etc. all praised as “art”. I won’t give the artists the dignity of mentioning their names.)

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press. (CHECK. Many of us remember George Carlin’s Seven Forbidden Words. While all of them can now be heard on cable channels, most of them can be heard on even network television.)

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV. (CHECK. In 1953, the word “pregnant” could not be said on the I Love Lucy Show. We can all name shows where married couples had twin beds. Now, anything goes and what is on even network television used to be referred to as pornography.)

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.” (CHECK, CHECK, CHECK. The point here? Undermine the family unit and weaken the community by creating single parent homes and non-reproductive couples. However, as many same-sex couples do have the desire to have children, this aspect of the mission has failed to a degree. The irony is that most “isms” consider homosexuality as offensive, however, as with anything else, it provides a means to their ends and the homosexual population are too eager to join the cause without knowing the history behind the “acceptance”. )

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.” (CHECK, CHECK, CHECK.)

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principal of “separation of church and state.” (CHECK. The ACLU and atheist groups have made this their primary mission. And the ignorance of the American people and the courts have allowed it to continue. THERE IS NO SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE CLAUSE IN THE CONSTITUTION.)

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. (CHECK. See #20. Even sadder, a few years ago, a dear friend of mine referred to The Constitution as “just a 200-year-old piece of paper”.)

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.” (CHECK.)

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. (CHECK.)

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc. (CHECK. Wilson, FDR, LBJ, and the hits keep coming under #44′s regime.)

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus. (In progress. The EPA and onslaught of Executive Orders are two of the strongest examples of completely bypassing the checks and balances created in the Constitution.)

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities. (CHECK. Renamed to Internal Security Committee in 1969 and eliminated in 1975. In 1959 Truman called it “the most un-American thing in the country today.”)

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions. (CHECK. We all remember SEIU President Andy Stearn’s Marxist tribute when he announced Workers of The World Unite.” Here’s #44 saying his presidency will be for the SEIU.)

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business. (CHECK. If you can’t infiltrate, create your own. Think “Global Warming” and Green Energy.)

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].  (CHECK to the 2nd statement. We all remember when it was widely accepted that some people are just plain mean. Now, the blame has to be shifted to some ethereal psychiatric disorder so that the person can be held harmless for their deeds.)

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. (CHECK. See 22-28. In 1950 there were 385,144 divorces. By 2009 that number has jumped to 2,318,615.)

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. (CHECK. Rather than raising children away from parents, this was accomplished through removing parental guidance in the home and the promotion of ideas like freedom of expression, being your child’s best friend, removal of rules in the home by “training” parents that discipline was bad for their child’s self-esteem, etc.)

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems. (CHECK. Three words – Occupy Wall Street.)

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government. (CHECK. If not all, certainly several. Mau Mau Uprising anyone? Hmmm, what rings about the Mau Mau Uprising? Oh yes, it took place in Kenya, home of #44′s “father”.)

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal. (CHECK. In 1999 the U.S. handed the Panama Canal over to the corrupt government of Panama. Panama subsequently signed a 50-year lease for two ports at each end of the Canal with Hong Kong’s Hutchison Whampoa Company, run by Li Ka-shing, who is closely associated with the Beijing regime. This gave China’s Communist Party de facto control over the most strategic waterway in the West.)

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike. (IN PROGRESS. In the following year, 1959, Hubert Humphrey introduced into the Senate S. Res. 94 to repeal the Connally Reservation. This was followed by H. Res. 267 was introduced in favor of Humphrey’s bill. While no official repeal is found in the Congressional records it is widely known that #44 and his supporters favor acquiescing to international law in U.S. cases.)
